Person-Centred Counselling
Town & Country Counselling in Great Yarmouth
Jude Ward
I work as a Person-Centred Counsellor in the heart of Great Yarmouth town centre. My location is easily accessible by car, bus, or train, and it’s conveniently situated on the ground floor with wheelchair accessibility.
My previous employment and voluntary roles allowed me to hone my skills in listening, understanding, and providing support to others. After personally benefiting from counseling during a challenging period in my life, I was inspired to use my experiences to assist others. I underwent training to become a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor.
I aim to extend to you the same opportunity I received – a chance to be heard and understood without judgment. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Person-Centred Counselling from the University of Suffolk. The program I completed is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am a registered member of BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Profession. Additionally, I hold the necessary insurance for private counseling work.

Putting you in control of your wellbeing
Throughout my training and since becoming qualified, I have had the opportunity to assist individuals dealing with a wide range of concerns and challenges. Additionally, I have dedicated three years to volunteering with CRUSE Bereavement.
As a Person-Centred Counsellor, the counselling process is driven by you during each session. I do not dictate what you should say or do. Instead, we collaborate to explore a path forward that aligns with your preferences. This takes place in an environment that prioritises confidentiality and safety, within a supportive and non-judgmental relationship that encourages the exploration and comprehension of your emotions.
